The Griffin Kickstream is portable adjusting phone stand that also maintains a charging cable for viewing/charging on the go.

Sometimes a sales person promises a buyer a product that doesn’t exist. The Kickstream is a result of a 4 week design to production sprint.

The functionality was inspired by a diabolo stick toy. Due to having to make the mechanism fairly simple, I looked to more old school classic toys that didn’t require batteries.

For the form, I looked at objects that were scale appropriate for travel and being used with a phone and I stumbled on macaroons and lollipops. I took bit of those elements and adjusted them to fit Griffin’s brand identity better.
