The Magellan is a lighting system designed to adapt to different environments & offer smooth lighting void of hot spots. Magellan can be mounted as a full body pendant light or rearranged individually to best suit the needs of the space.

Magellan’s design was inspired by the change in environment for myself when I moved to NY from LA. The internal space I was used was different in many ways.

The fully constructed version of the light was based on tangent circles and then working them into a 3D space. The etched patterns are also based off a circular motion with use of the Fibonacci sequence.
